Sweet Things are Happening at Pixelscrapper!

Hi there!

For the last couple of months all the gals at Pixelscrapper have been working hard on a collaborative kit  called "Sweet Things."  It is a great summer fun palette and all of the parts have been quality checked!  There are a LOT of papers, LOT of ellies and some alphas and word art too!

I Joined Another Creative Team....Hooray!

Luminous...A New Kit from Busy Crafting Mommy Designs

Meg, of Busy Crafting Mommy Designs, has a lovely new kit in both of her stores today.  From the dreary grays of winter, the bright spring greens and yellows emerge ready to welcome the summer.  This kit is all about the joys of new spring growth and beautiful plants, birds, and yes even (some) bugs that greet us once more in the spring.  To really make these beautiful greens and yellows pop that Meg added some darkness mixed in as well.  So she added some "Cleveland gray" to the mix, in honor of her hometown, and she hopes this kit evokes the feeling of spring bursting forth from the dull gray winter.

It's Time for Another Blog Train!

So before I get to this month's blog train I have to tell you about what I have been doing for the last six weeks.  I have been taking a Design Mentoring Class at Scraps N Pieces!  It will be going "live" on May 20, 2013, so you will want to come back here so that I can give you the link to the kits - they will be in the Scraps N Pieces Gallery.  There were quite a few newbies and so there are quite a few kits that you will be able to pick up for two weeks (at least)!  That will make for a fun month, huh!

If you don't belong to the Scraps N Pieces forum you might want to jump on over there to get signed up in advance and be ready to go.  And don't forget to tell your digi-scrapping friends about it too!  You can do that by going here.  I also recommend that you look around because it is a great community!  I call Scraps N Pieces my "home" as it is the first store/forum that I joined and I love their generousity, store, forum and the challenges (they are great fun)!

Some of the kits are by individual designers and others are part of a collaboration (for the newbies).  Since I am a newbie I was part of a collaboration.  Our kit is called Seaside Resort in some unconventional seaside colors (was a challenge).  Here is a sneak peek at a part of my portion:

As always, you already know that I love glitter, so of  course there are glitter styles and papers for you to have fun with!  And once I get started I keep thinking of things to add...this time I have twelve papers!  The best part of all is that with my design mentoring class I feel that I am giving you a better quality product and expect that I can only improve.  I must tell you though that there is so much to remember when it comes to designing.
